Oigawa Railway Steam Locomotive
The only railway line in Japan operating steam locomotive train along Oigawa River (north to south) almost every day.
You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of green tea farm and atmosphere of countryside.
By our arrangement, you can have bento lunch and momidahi-tea on S.L.
(For vegetarians, vegetarian bento is also available.)
Shiogo Suspension Bridge
Originally it was used for daily life.
The longest suspension bridge over Oi River.

Enjoy the thrill and countryside across this narrow suspension bridge.
Home stay
Enjoy the local life with the owner. There is a small tea farm. You can enjoy tea picking.
Enjoy local dinner and breakfast. Vegetalian menu available.

Yamakasho Tea Farm
A small tea farm run by a family. (close to the home stay house)
They produce their tea without the use of pesticides.
Enjoy Tea farm, factory seeing, tasting at the tea shop,.
Itinerary
Day1
09:10 AM, meet with our staff at JR Shizuoka Station, hand over all the tickets and maps
09:41 AM, take JR Tokaido Line to Kanaya,
10:12 AM, arrive at Kanaya Station, transfer to Oigawa railway
10:48 AM, take Oigawa railway normal train to Shin-Kanaya
10:54 AM, arrive at Shin-Kanaya Station
11:52 AM, take Steam locomotive head to Kawane Onsen Sasamado
(bento lunch and bottle of green tea will be served on S.L)
12:41 PM, arrive at Kawane Onsen Sasamado Station.
12:50 Car pick up
13:00-13:40 Shiogo Suspension Bridge
14:10-15:20 Yamakasho Tea Farm
15:30 Arrive at the home stay house

Day2
After breakfast, free time (for example, relaxing time at Oigawa River side very close to the house) at the home stay house,
10:40-11:20 car transportation to Kawane Onsen Sasamado Station
11:54 AM, take Oigawa railway normal train head to Kanaya
